It’s edited. There’s a scene where the title character, ichi, splits a guy in half and saves a girl but that part is removed. Buy the blu ray version if it’s out there. I can only imagine what other scenes they’ve left out. Total rip off.
Not for everyone

As my title says. It is not for everyone. It’s very visceral and disturbing. But. If you can take the violence and gore. There is a tragic story to be witnessed here. A true classic.
