Description

Charlie (Jedidiah Goodacre) joins his friends (RJ Mitte, Niko Pepaj, Hannah Rose May) on a weekend trip to a remote cabin on the lake. They turn on the TV and discover hundreds of unnatural cloudlike clusters are hovering over Earth. The friends notice a similar eerie cloud floating high above their cabin. That night a beam of otherworldly light shoots down from the sky. They try to defend themselves, but aliens abduct a number of them and whisk them away to the mother ship. The remaining two of the group, Charlie and Annie (Laura Bilgeri) must rely on an eccentric and mysterious local hunter (Wesley Snipes) who seems to have special knowledge of the attack. He explains this day has been prophesied for years and is part of multiple mass abductions by aliens, who have been guiding mankind’s evolution from the very beginning.

  • Not since Battlefield Earth has a movie sucked this much

Ugh. Ugh. And ugh. Good lord. This movie. So bad. Words fail me. It's like if some high school kids wrote a really bad alien invasion movie, and one of them has a family cabin in the woods so they shot it there, and another one has an uncle who was Wesley Snipes' lawyer and made a deal for him to be in this movie. If someone is gonna subject me to a movie this awful, the lease they can do is have some gratuitous female nudity included. Ugh.

I am a SciFi/Horror fan so I give movies like this more "slack" than others. I liked this movie. Yes, the first 15 minutes was complete "young people into the woods" formula. But after that it became unique. I liked the alien invasion had a "twist" to it. And this plays in with my personal beliefs about the history of the human race (created by aliens). I bought it and no regrets!!!

I enjoyed it. It held my attention and I was happy there was an actual story behind it (as Wesley tells them what was going on and why) as well as an ending that did not leave you hanging. Wesley added some humor which mixed in great too! Well done!! I am a Sci-Fi fan and and I say THUMBS UP!!!

I can see why I hadn't heard anything about this...Unoriginal, flat and not very suspenseful or scary....a couple of ok scenes here and there....wait until it's .99c to rent.
  • Predictable but okay

Not bad, not great, one of those movies to watch on a rainy afternoon when you have nothing else to do.
  • Should have rented

Glad Wesley's back and this movie had great potential up till the last couple were abducted. Down hill after that and it left the impression the movie was written for either a sequel or TV show.
  • Boring!

Unoriginal flat-script, mediocre acting--including being slow and unbelievable = A boring movie. Essentially, this is a "lower rung" B-Grade movie that makes all the actors look like amateurs. Save your money...don't buy it...rent it only if it costs $0.99 cents and you're already half-asleep.
  • Wesley Snipes!

The start was a little boring but once the blank hits the fan it gets cool. Snipes had me laughing so hard with his one liners. I hope they make a sequel. Also thought this one would make a for a great tv show.
