The cinematography is beautiful, the acting is great, and the writing isn’t special. There’s only about 3 things people remember about this movie positively and yet so many people like it despite 2 hours of it being utterly boring. Feel free to like it. Feel free to dislike it. I just don’t like it where people don’t like it when they disagree with them.
  • SCHUUUUUUUUULLLTZ!!!! Just WHAT is the meaning of this?!

I knew revisitation of a classic story was too good to be true. Or I knew something was a bit off about that "A STAR WARS STORY" line. In the trailer, I saw the Death Star, the stormtroopers, and of course, Darth Vader. Then, there was...well...everything else. In the movie, I saw a lot of characters, but NOBODY with PERSONALITY! NOT EVEN THE EVER-POPULAR JYN ERSO! Not to mention that Cassian dude. He didn't reach me. Neither did that blind dude who believed in the force but was CLEARLY NO FORCE-USER. But Director Krennic, though. He could have been a little bit more. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I guess that's why I love that moment when Vader warns him about "choking on his aspirations." As a matter of fact, Vader was the only other part of this waste-of-energy that actually TRIED to reach me. And mildly succeeded. Seems to me like SW cosplayers can bring more life to the characters in this story than the cast or crew of ROGUE ONE ever could! Call me when the next Star Wars Celebration comes to town! I can wait!

PROS 1. Darth Vader scenes were awesome! CONS 1. The best part of the whole movie was the ending 2. The Plot 3. The Characters 4. It took forever to blow up Jedha & Scarif. 5. What’s with the squid creature? 6. Death Troopers were pointless Overall, It’s a good movie; but it’s not a Star Wars film. The most important thing about a Star Wars film, is the characters as well as the plot. Instead of the lame characters like Rogue One & Krennic; I would’ve made Leia, the alliance, Tarkin , and Vader the main Characters. Because watching this before the Original Trilogy is pointless.
