First of all thank you guys for being you! Fitting Into categories is not something that matters to me, but I always had this part of myself that was so different than everyone around me and I could never figure out how to explain the mindset or put words to it; until I heard the term ‘minimalist’. Minimalism was introduced to me by a former coworker who I had discussed this mindset with and they suggested the documentary on Netflix called “Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things” This documentary brought me immense value & It was a ‘before and after’ moment in my life. It was like I had literally found a piece of myself I could never explain before & I discovered there were so many other people out there who think the way I do 🧩 It has lead me to further that lifestyle and integrate it deeper in to my mind. I continue to listen to your podcasts often as you guys give a lot of good advice on almost every topic, & what you have to say resonates with me. I often recommend your podcasts to many people in my life.

This documentary is great! I also listen to their podcast which has definitely helped me change things in my life! I was always finding that even when my house was spotless I felt like it was cluttered. But I didn’t know what to do. Then I came upon a video clip on Facebook about these guys and figured I would take a look! I’m so glad I did! Thank you all so much! My biggest issue was always (just in case). Having a grandmother who grew up in the depression era always raised her children to keep things just in case or eat everything on your plate just in case you can’t eat later...which has trickled down to my generation. Realizing most things that I had that were (just in case) Were really just space wasters and mind cloggers. Minimizing my stuff and maximizing my life has truly been life changing! Thank you both so much!

Now more than ever, people center conversations with friends and family around “what they’re watching”. If you’re lucky enough for that person to truly want your recommendation, you want to ensure the movie, series or documentary strikes a chord. I no longer hesitate with that recommendation after watching this documentary. I hope everyone who watches feels as warm and inspired as I do from watching and that they too feel the need to recommend this to others. Cheers!

By and large, the message these guys are sending through their journey and experiences is spot on. The level of consumption has reached prodigious levels that if not corrected, will unfortunately spiral out of control.
