In this moving and insightful documentary, follow the lives of three 10-year-olds as they study and test for one of the Islamic world's most famous competitions: The International Holy Koran Competition in Cairo--recitation of the Koran from memory. These three children, two boys from Senegal and Tajikistan and a girl from the Maldives, negotiate the line between modern and traditional faith as they also grow-up and compete in honor of their faiths and families.
