Mater is the first Tow Truck on the moon. His mission: Rescue the Impala XIII by giving him a tow and bringing him back to Earth. Lightning McQueen joins Mater and they are met with a hero's welcome.

Only 4 Minutes Long - Not Scary

My toddler loves Mater, but some of the other cartoons in the Cars Toons series that we saw on TV were just a little intense for him (e.g., the ones where Mater is a monster truck or a matador-- anytime Mater is in danger of getting hit/injured). This was an easy way to buy only the "Moon Mater" sketch, which doesn't have any violence and is pretty funny. Keep in mind that it is only about 4 minutes long.

This is a short film from the cars toon mater tall tales. If you read it before then u wouldn't have to waste your money. Just buy all the tales which is 30 min all together

And it's only 5 frkn minutes long! I though it would be 25-30!!! WHAT IS THIS? My son was sooo Whiney the rest of the flight... Oh my God it was horrible...

Here are the facts: this movie costs $2.99. It is 4 minutes long! I spent 75 cents a minute! It would have been helpful if the length of this "movie" was listed in the details page. I would NEVER have bought it if I had known it was only 4 minutes long! I really thought it would be at least 15 minutes. This movie was purchased to entertain my son on a long flight, which was a huge failure!

It's a cute movie but don't waste your money, if you own car toons already. It is one of the shorts included in the collection.

It's a good movie, but for $2, it might be helpful to know that it's already included in the Car's Toon series. I really wish I had looked at the short list again before buying this one. Totally unnecessary, but I did learn a very valuable lesson. Save your $$, and get the Mater's Tall Tales.
