These people are like Idols to me, seeing the stress they went through and seeing them come out on top (even though Fez 2 was cancelled and Phil is currently on a hiatus - come back Phil, gaming needs you!) was just the inspiration I needed after a long drought of creativity and stress were killing me.

This movie is truly inspiring to me, particularly Tommy and Edmund as build “Super Meat Boy”, what inspiration in todays economy to really drive hard for your dream and rise above the clouds. With sacrifices, determination, heart and an overwhelming amount of hard work, it nice to see these two men succeed as it provides nothing short of giving me more drive as i pursue my own dream. I’ve watched this movie several times for one main reason, it inspires me to continue to work on my own freelance graphics design business, especially on those really tough grueling days. If two guys can build a success like “super meat boy” with nothing more at the core then heart, determination and very hard work. Then I too can be successful by utilizing those same attributes.
  • NOT ONLY FOR GAMERS, very inspirational

I bought this documentary on Steam almost a year ago when it first came out. I've watched it several times since then, and I had even bought copies for my friends to watch. The way it intertwined the three-fold story of the Established Successful, the Current Successful, and the Will Be Successful was pure cinematic bliss to me. Listening to Jon Blow explain his success story, witnessing Ed and Tommy's struggle to the finish line, and feeling every magnified emotion flowing through Phil's veins was an emotional roller coaster, one that left an endorphin high after every ride. As someone who aspires to be an indie dev, especially since Edmund has been one of my main idols for the past few years, there can be no better documentary to watch, over and over again.

The future of gaming is always expanding. Indie developers are on the rise with various new opportunities to wow audiences and gain a foothold in the gaming industry with new and innovative gaming outlets. This film was INCREDIBLE. It have an honest and hard look into what it takes to develop a game as an Indie dev. Very moving.

Not only as a gamer/programmer/small indie game developer this is by far one of the most fascinating and in depth doc I've ever had the pleasure of wacthing. Not only does it show the struggles and milestones and euphoria but it gives three different sicuations each very unique. Best Doc Ever!!!!!!!!!
