Scary and gorgeous

I want to own all of these, but heres the deal I want to buy them and not rent them. Also I don’t see part II any where.

This is an all American Classic!!! The best horror film EVER made!!! What if there were a hostel part 4 THAT would be EPIC!!! Love it Great Acting!!!

This movie is mindless. Its hard to imagine that anyone would find anything appealing or entertaining about this movie. Bad acting, bad writing, a total waste of time.

Some of the scenes are hard to watch but it's very suspenseful.

this movies is stupid with violence

ok i'm not sure if it was done on purpose or if i just am not familiar with cars, but if i remember correctly the drivers seat is on the right in erope isn't it?? :P haha in this there in europe but the drivers seat is on the left like an american car :P

This movie was disgusting, sick, scary and overall twisted.

When I was putting on Hostel for the first time I expected the movie to be too focused on its torturing, have your average cast of horror characters that are easy to predict who and who will not die, and everyone will die at the end. At first it mislead me with how much cliche and it felt like a typical horror movie. But what ever you do! Don't turn off the movie! As I got into the movie it became a major kick in the face for me. After the first 40 minutes it was completely unpredictable! Every time I told my self what would happen It backfired and something happened making the story veer in another direction. Making the story more and more suspenseful as the protagonist constantly fell into deeper more dangerous scenarios. There were so many moments while I was watching the movie when I got my iPod ready to write an awful review. But next thing I know the story was lifted to a level I didn't expect it to come to this movie had a great story! And the movie was made all too well. It's lighting and distant sounds of screams echoing through the movie made the torture scenes posses that deep eery mood and i seriously felt scared with what was to happen next to the characters. This movie was awesome and although I wish it could explain a little more on the doctors backstory. Like have better explanations on their motives. Why exactly are they doing this? But that's a minor complaint with everything this movie does right. If you like slasher horror films with a deep survival story this movie is for you! Oh and it's got such an epic ending making this slasher movie a breath of fresh air if you've been watching the saw series.

The first 50 minutes were just garbage and it just sucked so I stopped watching..... Then I came back an hour later and it was a totally different movie with an epic ending and it turned out to be one of the best movies I have ever seen!
