Battle for Terra

Get past the 'Disney eyes' and not the best walk animations and you have a fantastic movie that does what Avatar couldn't..BE INTELLIGENT! The characters have plenty of self questioning moments where you genuinely don't know what decision they are going to make. It keeps you guessing, hits you with a twist and wows the eyes with great imagery reminiscent of sci fi artist Wayne Barlowe. I highly recommend this film. NOt for toddlers though. Smart kids and adults only.

I'll make this one short and sweet. the film was just people and aliens dying, depressing stories from both the aliens' and humans' past, and an unnecessary sacrifice.

I was looking for a movie like this one for a long time. I wanted to see a movie where humans "attack"/colonize other world with other life forms, not like those others (they are cool) where we are attacked by some aliens. Story of the movie is very well done and also like others mentioned the moral values, which I think gives us very good example. Graphics of the movie were good. I hope to see more movies like that in the future, but with better graphics.

Yes this did come out 2 years before avatar, but they started making avatar 3 years before this. 2 stars I am taking away for copying, 1 star because I love avatar, and 2 stars because it might deserve it. I haven't seen this yet. P.s. Scientists did find another planet just close enough to the sun that people can live on it. But don't pack your bags just yet... Its 20 million lightyears away!

It's a kids movie .... But please listen to the message behind the movie it's trying to send the message to our kids to change our thinking because obvious ly the older generation hasn't

Okay, Really? You are going to try and knock President Reagan by trying to tie the movie in with his missle defense system nick named star wars? Which was not a total failure. No you sound like an ignorant fool. Also you have sad un imaginative life if you think that tech like the stuff in star wars will never exsist.. Oh also in about 5 billion years, when the sun goes super nova, earth will be deystroyed. SO CAN YOUR NEGATIVITY.. Its a childrens movie, like Titan AE.

This a bad movie with a really bad message. Some day we will have to leave earth? what a bunch of crap! We will never have to leave earth! The kind kind of tecnology in star wars will never exist! President Reagan spent billions of dollars trying to make a space defense from rocket-launched soviet missiles and it all went to waste! anyway back to the movie the main message is a bunch of crap! I dont think we will ever have to leave earth and fight for a new place to live on. If it wasnt for the very small good message about finding a way other than war to live on terra, I wouldve given it a one star. I alost forgot. Terra doesnt even exist! Sure scientists have planets outside our solar system but they hardly get any light! I know scientists think there are othe solar systems outside or galaxy but we will never know! It would take all the money in the world and thousands if not millions of years to gte a sattelite into another galaxy! Terrible movie with a terrible message. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
