Description

From Academy Award®-winning director, Ron Howard, comes the electrifying, untold story behind one of the most unforgettable moments in history. When disgraced President Richard Nixon agreed to an interview with jet-setting television personality, David Frost, he thought he'd found the key to saving his tarnished legacy. But, with a name to make and a reputation to overcome, Frost became one of Nixon's most formidable adversaries and engaged the leader in a charged battle of wits that changed the face of politics forever. Featuring brilliant portrayals by Frank Langella and Michael Sheen, Frost/Nixon is the fascinating and suspenseful story of truth, accountability, secrets and lies.

...All the President's Men. The build up, the mix of fast and slow pace, mixed with historical fact makes this movie but you in the moment. Definitely worth a rent. Might feel a but slow for some but the last half hour of the movie brings the fireworks! Loved it!

Frost Nixon was a great attempt to recreate what happened around the time our former president gave an interview fresh from resigning from the White House. My problem was Richard Nixon rambled on too much & this cost Frank Langella the Oscar! Other Than that it is great filmmaking. Ron Howard is a focused director!

Frost/Nixon was an amazing movie. Frank Langella played a very believable Richard Nixon and Michael Sheen was perfect as David Frost. Ron Howard has made many terrific films before and this is definitely one of his best. Personally, I loved Frost/Nixon.

This movie was a wonderful insight into the life of Richard Nixon. Similar in a way to the movie W. about George Bush, this movie gives a great non-biased view of the life and Presidency of Nixon. In my opinion it showed Nixon as a solid man and the unfair onslaught that Media tends to place on a single mistake of any one person. It truly showed how Nixon in many ways was misunderstood and made into something almost evil by the Media. It also shows how great of a man he was to face his mistake and stand up (figuratively) to apologize to a nation. A great movie that shows the many sides of the Nixon story.

Well not many people thought that Nixon was innocent. I say that his biggest mistake was getting caught. He should have come clean rather than fudge over it. I wonder what things have been said and covered over since the Days of Washington. The more sinister character was the college professor with his self rightious and self promoting attitude.
