This movie is great, fun, and funny. I like this movie a lot. I love all of the characters in this movie. It is one of my favorite movies.

When I stumbled upon this film roughly a decade ago as a young soul, I was simply incapable of comprehending the impact this movie— nay, this work of art— would have on me. Cheaper By the Dozen manages to balance playful humor, raw emotion, and family values in the most calculated yet seemingly natural form that pulls on the heartstrings of its viewers. This is the ultimate family movie that no other cinematic experience has been able to rival. I owe so much of my own personal growth to Ben Myron, Michael Barnathan, and Robert Simonds. Thank you.

I would recommend watching the original 1950s adaptation with Clifton Webb and Myra Loy considering it was closer to the life of Frank and Lillian Gilbreth. The only similarity would be that two of the children writing a book about their life, but that's where it ends.

One of my favorite movies. It helps to be part of a large family to understand some of what goes on during the movie though.

As one of 9 kids and friend to families with 11, 12, 13, and more kids, I was appalled at this movie, sure it had a couple funny parts, but it made families with a lot of kids look like a WWE wrestling match, all fighting and out of control. I'll have you know that REAL big families have much better behaved kids then the average size family. Watch the original cheaper by the dozen, it's a bit more accurate, but not prefect.
