Description

What you can't see can hurt you. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal's classic monster character. Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC's The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO's Euphoria). But when Cecilia's abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

Easily in the top 5 dumbest movies I’ve ever seen. Dude invents a Harry Potter type invisibility cloak so he can abuse his ex. No. That’s not a joke.
  • Ok.

(Apple should delete all reviews that opine about the price instead of the movie itself.) The movie has NOTHING to do with H.G.Wells’ original story. As a new story, it was ok. Not great.
  • Mind blowing!

By far one of the most scary, thrilling and ‘edge of your seat’ movies ever! It was worth the $15.00 to buy it! Excellent performances! Keeps you guessing till the very end!

This is a failed project from start to finish. Watch anything else. You deserve better.

Absolutely no imagination, just dark and depressing. What has happened to Hollywood?

I understand that this was directed by the guy who did so many of those completely awful Saw movies. I understand people love awful movies. But I don’t understand how anyone enjoyed this, unless you get off watching women be helpless.
  • Surprise.

Lol this was a really good flick. Glad I waited until today to check this out. Rental was less the five bucks and it was definitely worth it all around. No dull moments really and acting was good all around. I’d watch it again in the future.
  • Awesome Thriller!

The amount of complaining over a rental price…insane. Do you people know how the entertainment business works? If they can’t release in theaters, they will release here and try and make a profit. Four a family of four, 20 bucks is cheaper than a theater. Insane how people don’t understand this concept. Anywho, great movie! Love Oliver Jackson Cohen. Great interpretation of this movie!
