Ane is a construction manager who lives a quiet and unfulfilled life, trapped in a seemingly loveless marriage. Meanwhile, tollbooth attendant Lourdes and her crane operator husband Beñat struggle to please Beñat's mother, Tere, who wishes for a grandchild that is not in the plans. When a sudden, tragic event brings all of their lives together at a crossroads, flowers once again begin to appear anonymously, this time representing different emotions.
